The baby albino dolphin alone is quite priceless.

A colossal pod of 250 plus Bottlenose dolphins including babies, juveniles and one baby albino dolphin is being held captive overnight in the cove right now. It will be a total of 19 hours before they will endure the torture of being ripped from their family and selected for captivity. Those not selected will be slaughtered for human consumption.

At approximately 7:30am dolphin killers and trainers transferred 3 Bottlenose dolphins from the Taiji harbor pens to Dolphin Resort Hotel. The 3 dolphins were transferred in slings via skiff and into the above ground concrete tanks. This is Dolphin Resort’s second transfer within days.

The transfer was complete, but the day was just beginning as the dolphin killers discovered the enormous pod of Bottlenose dolphins. About 10am we spotted two separate dolphin drives just over the horizon. The pods were massive. As the killing boats rapidly progressed toward Taiji, the dolphins attempted to escape many times and were eventually driven in as 5 separate pods. The killers were merciless as usual in their attempts to herd these dolphins into the cove. The nets were drawn and the pods were driven in one by one until all five pods were combined into 2 sections. Left divided into two separate groups over night.

This is the largest pod to be driven into the cove in several years, last December 2012, a Bottlenose pod of nearly 200 dolphins was dissected for captivity and slaughter and the process took several days. At this time, it is unknown if captive selection will occur tomorrow morning as Saturdays are normally a day off for the Fisherman’s Union. This pod is far too valuable and worth millions of dollars. The baby albino dolphin alone is quite priceless.

It is disgusting to think that intelligent mammals are up for being slaughtered,i saw some comments on twitter where even ricky gervais has highlighted this issue..

More action needs to be taken on this, the worlds resources are not limitless,(we use trees for toilet paper and money, cars chugging co2 up into the atmosphere, destroying all sorts of ecology falling trees and forests all over the world)our seas are being overfished and abused.

For example anybody seen the ''health food drive'' on krill oil, these krill are being overfished in the antartica where they reside, and are being used for stupid things like health food krill oil,and there is no scientific evidence krill oil equals a healthy body..

On overfishing all our oceans,If we allow this to happen we will have no fish left, also what is worrying is that these fish are being taken before they reach sexual maturity meaning they are taken before they have the chance to pro create / multipy..

The next generation of greed consumed human beings will have to suffer the consequences of this.

There are sayings that certain animals/fish are pests, but the real pests are us,human beings, there are far too many human beings on the planet to begin with, all wanting to consume,consume,consume..We are going to hit 10 billion by 2050,thats a lot of mouths to feed.

Maybe the cull should begin with us??

Maybe if humans just focussed some of their supposed intelligence on proper long term resource management it would be a start. Capitalism is out of control and destroying the whole ecosystem just for the short term benefit of a few. We need something different along the lines of the venus project perhaps?
A resource based economy, with a reproduction licence / lottery system to stabilise the human population.

What's the point of allowing 10 billion people to exist when most are just work slaves or hungry, diseased and miserable. But that's what globalised capitalism does. It breeds misery and poverty and eats up and wastes resources at an incredible rate, creating duplicated rubbish products that we don't need, most of which are in landfill in 6 months

By current calculations, the planet can only support 2 billion people without oil falsely inflating the food supply, using traditional farming methods (that's assuming they live an altogether simpler vegetarian life)

And we need to start considering animals as fellow travellers on this earth in their own right, not just resources for our consumption and exploitation.

We believe what differentiates us from other animals is our intelligence. Perhaps we need to start showing it.
