St Patricks Day Festival would like to do a call out to the LGBT community to take part in the 2014 parade.

category national | rights, freedoms and repression | press release author Monday January 13, 2014 16:27author by Eddie Report this post to the editors

St Patricks Day Festival would like to do a call out to the LGBT community to take part in the 2014 parade.

After the hugely successful 2013, City Fusion (St Patrick Day Parade) would be delighted if members of the LGBT community would join us again for the project in 2014. It‚s important for us to include new groups in the pageant, to foster new partnerships and engage with the LGBT community in a wider way after the great work from last years groups Dublin Pride and BelongTo in 2013.

"We would like to encourage both individuals and groups from the LGBT community to apply to become part of the pageant next year. We will endeavour to make your participation as engaging, fun and enjoyable as possible", said Karen Walshe, St. Patrick's Festival

Would you like to take part in what is the biggest parade in Ireland, a head of Dublin pride parade, that is shown all over the world?

This again is a great way for the LGBT community here in Ireland to step out and show the world how inclusive Ireland is, as we join force with City Fusion (St. Patrick's Day Parade).

Please note, they‚ve had to increase the age limit on Brighter Futures from 12 to 13 years of
age.

We need to confirm groups and individuals as well as numbers before Christmas. We are planning to hold the Introduction evening early in January followed by rehearsals starting the week of Jan. 13th 2014. So ideally we have to have groups and individuals confirmed by next week.

So If you or your group or groups would like to take part please email:
EMcGPR & Events hello@emcgpr.com
Full Name, Age, Name of Group (if any), Contact Number and Email.
Plus Availblity from starting week January 13th 2014 until March 17th 2014.

If you need to know any more info please email us at hello@emcgpr.com

Thank you for your time and please pass on this message on to your members, friends and groups.

Eddie
