Decentralise IMC IRL ASAP?

Should We?

Lots of conversations at Ecotopia about this. What does anybody think? UK Decentralisation is proving slow and difficult - I think this is because a sense of ownership was built up by the London Crew who originated it and this has caused problems. I would love to see Belfast, Limerick, Cork, Galway, Dublin IMC's all feeding into an Ireland one or even a UK and Ireland one. I am writing this to begin a public debate on the subject. Should we set up a dedicated list to discuss this. IMC Irl - which is really in all honesty a Dublin IMC is getting a bigger volume of features and newswire stuff suddenly and features are going late or unpublished due to the fact that it is voluntary and people can only afford so much time - decentralisation I think would give an incentive to more people to get involved without travelling
