Northwest Network against Fracking have launched a postcard and poster campaign, aimed at all elected representatives.
This image has gone viral on facebook, from South Africa to Australia, and more people are joining the campaign every day.
The postcards are available to download for free from www.frackingfreeireland.org

They can be bought from the same web address, in hard copy form.

We are encouraging people to either send the postcard as an email or in a hard copy to a minister of their choice, preferably Pat Rabbitte, or Fergus O Dowd, telling them that onshore unconventional gas extraction on the island of Ireland is unacceptable to the communities living in the proposed gaslands, and we wish to leave our children a legacy of hope, not one of an environment so degraded that their legacy will contain carcinogenic timebombs!!

Two Irish filmmakers are now involved in selling fracking industry lies:

This article exposes their links to the likes of ALEC, heritage foundation etc.

Quote:
"Other Big Tobacco apologists-turned-Big Oil apologists also helped promote the film: Grover Norquist’s Americans for Tax Reform and the Heritage Foundation, the Cornwall Alliance, The Washington Examiner, Collegians for a Constructive Tomorrow (CFACT), the Fraser Institute, Breitbart.com, and Right Online.

McAler and McElhinney have brought the Tobacco Playbook to the big screen. The question remains: who’s funding them?"
