Bilingual Workshop of Brigid's Crosses

How to make Brigid's Crosses with examples of other styles, some of which will be demonstrated on the important day as well.

Brigid's Crosses are traditionally made with rushes on the 1st February since the beginning of time.

They are hung above the door to celebrate Brigid and keep diseases away

Friday 1st February 2013 - [1.00 - 3.00 pm]

Everyone is welcome and free admission.
Fairtrade refreshments with watercress salad sandwiches.

Gaeilge will be encouraged at the workshop
