Gay Vegan Poet in town to join Vegan Ireland's celebrations
“Exuberant, lively, expressive and totally nuts,” award-winning vegan performance artist poet, Dominic Berry visits Ireland to take part in the last of Vegan Ireland’s colourful events and activities organised for World Vegan Month (November).
1. At 1pm on Sun 25th at Temple Bar Square, Vegan Ireland members, many dressed in animal costumes and fancy dress, will hear Dominic Berry give the first of three public poetry recitations planned for Dublin on the day. Free food and literature will be given to the public.
2. At 2pm, at the entrance to St. Stephen’s Green at the top of Grafton Street, Dominic will give his second “set” of poems alongside an information and vegan food table in aid of Eden Farmed Animal Sanctuary who have launched a new film, “You Haven’t Lived Until You’ve Hugged a Turkey,” for World Vegan Month (see below).
3. At 3pm, Dominic will present a longer collection of his poetry at the Cornucopia Restaurant, Wicklow Street, Dublin. Cornucopia customers are in for a real treat as Dominic regales them with tails of dragons and wizards!
