The slaughter continues. Full story at the url.

Bani Walid, Libya, has been under siege for nearly three consecutive weeks. A man whose family is in the besieged city spoke with RT, and described the horrors allegedly taking place: Civilians are killed every day by toxic gas and heavy tank fire.Bani Walid, the last stronghold for supporters of deceased Libyan ruler Muammar Gaddafi, has been under siege for 20 days, with no resolution to the conflict in sight.

RT has learned that militias are reportedly shelling the city indiscriminately, with footage from Bani Walid showing dead bodies, and women and children with missing limbs and disfigured faces. A man named Faraj, who is currently in Egypt but is in contact with relatives in Bani Walid, spoke with RT and claimed that the militias are committing genocide.

Militias have reportedly encircled Bani Walid, and are not allowing any supplies into the town including food, water, medicine or humanitarian aid. The town’s electricity and gas has also allegedly been cut off.

“They attack the city and are using heavy machinery to demolish the houses,” Faraj said. “They are using internationally banned toxic gases against civilian people and they bombard the population with tanks.”

Government-affiliated militias are under the orders “to kill all protesters,” he said. “The city is blocked from all sides; there has been no medicine, no food, and no humanitarian aid. There is nothing inside the city.”

“There is bloodshed in Bani Walid and nobody can hear the people inside the city. [The] militias’ guns come from the outside including from Sarkozy and Obama’s administrations." Full report at the link below.

The siege is in its 20th day and the pro-NATO NTC forces continue to indiscriminately shell the city.

A lot more videos can be found at the link below, but here is one documenting the injuries from the possible use of chemical weapons by the mercenaries of NTC on civilians in Bani Walid

According to reports from Russia Today (RT.com) 600 people were killed by the pro-NATO NTC forces yesterday.

The Misrata militia that allegedly laid siege to Bani Walid was the same group accused of war crimes by Human Rights Watch last week.
“We continue to receive conflicting reports. From sources on the ground, we’re hearing that the army is withdrawing from the city, although we are hearing of widespread killings. Government sources say the city has fallen,” RT correspondent in neighboring Lebanon, Paula Slier, said.

The RT report carries this quote from an eyewitness in Bani Walid – who called herself Fatima – had a very different story to tell. She said the situation in the town is anything but stable.

These are not governmental forces. These are militias and armed gangsters surrounding Bani Walid without any legitimacy. The media is prohibited from reporting on what’s happening in the city. The situation is horrible. Crimes are committed. Communications were deliberately cut in order for these gangsters to prevent any person from communicating what is really happening. They are bulldozing houses. They’re setting houses on fire, stealing everything they can find. They’ve committed massacres, killing as many people as they could,” she told RT.

Whether government forces or militias are behind the violence, video footage from the town paints a very graphic picture.

“Some of the photos and video we’ve been receiving show dismembered bodies and children who have been killed. Some of that footage is coming from Bani Walid television,” Slier said.

Included below are just two pictures from the RT report but they serve to give an idea of the terror happening there

The situation in Bani Walid in Libya seems to get worse by the day. We ought to remember that this is the country the Western press told us they had to impose a no-fly zone to protect civilians, although that in itself turned into an air attack and support for the terrorists which have ravaged the country.

So where are the UN now. Where is France, Britain and US would worked hard to have Libya destroyed. They nowhere of course because the regimes of these countries and their puppet states in the Middle East like Qatar support what is happening in Bani Walid.

From RT.com report it says:

Witnesses claim militia used chemical weapons in Bani Walid

“I can confirm that pro-government militias used internationally prohibited weapons. They used phosphorus bombs and nerve gas. We have documented all this in videos, we recorded the missiles they used and the white phosphorus raining down from these missiles,” Bani Walid-based activist and lawyer Afaf Yusef told RT. ...

Have the IAWM lost their ability to speak - or are they just afraid of offending their chum, the CIA agent and Nato mercenary, Madhi al-Harati?

While the IAWM still flies a Nato rat flag on their front page, there is not a single mention of the massacre of Bani Walid on their website. Shame on these people - bought and sold for al-Harati's CIA gold.

The CIA agent, Al Harati, still features on the IWAM site’s frontpage in the still from the video of last year’s Egyptian demonstration . The IAWM have been made aware of this , but the site’s administrators will not take the video down . A glance at its website shows that the IAWM hasn’t attempted to correct the pro-imperialist line it took in support of the so-called Libyan rebels at the time of the NATO invasion The site continues to describe the NATO act of aggression as a “humanitarian intervention ” and a “mission”.

"One year on: chaotic Libya reveals the perils of humanitarian intervention"
"The mission to remove Gaddafi was a noble one. But it provides a further lesson in the pitfalls of such actions"

"The mission to remove Gaddafi was a noble one."

What a slavish statement. Anybody with any shame or backbone at all needs to walk away from the IAWM.
