New album release

Near Records, are currently working with five great bands and the label is releasing it's first album, featuring these bands, on Friday october 12th.

We at NearFM have been helping to promote and give a platform to Dublin based musicians and bands since our creation in 1995. Throughout our time, We have been very pleasantly surprised by the wealth of talent that exists within the local music scene in both Dublin and beyond. It seems fitting so, that we create Near Records, a label with a community ethos, that pushes to help Dublin based artists bring their music to a larger audience.
Our debut release (a ten track compilation called Near Musical Express) is set for launch on Friday October 12th.We are currently working with five bands and each band has recorded two tracks with us for inclusion on the album.
The five bands:
Johnny and the Beep Beeps (Rock) The Rattling Kind (Alt Folk) Band66 (Pop/Rock) Axial Symmetry (Trash/Industrial) The Statics (Beat Revivalists)
Where to get it:
The Album will be available to purchase via download from iTunes beginning 12th October. It will be available to purchase in Physical format (CD), beginning the same day, from the following stores:
HMV Henry Street | Elastic Witch, Abbey Street | Tower Records, Wicklow Street | Rage Records, Fade Street| Freebird Records, Exchequer Street.
It will also be available to purchase at the launch night in The Grand Social.
