Organic Week celebrations

Lists of open gardens in Mayo, for organic week.

Visit one or more of the 5 open gardens, to celebrate national organic Week & European Organic Month, in September. Choices include an infant forest food farm/edible woodland near Charlestown, a woodland garden with many different 'rooms' as well as traditional raised beds of vegetables near Straid, an organic & environmentally-friendly garden near Enniscoe, a community garden with polytunnels & raised beds producing vegetables in Claremorris, & a small edible woodland within a conifer wood near Bohola.

Entry is free with refreshements, in some cases, for charities. Claremorris on 16th September, Charlestown on 19th & 22nd September, others on 22nd & 23rd September. Contact Celia on frogswell@gmail.com for further details, times & directions.
