The Seven Towers Agency begins its monthly cycle of events, with space kindly supplied courtesy of the Loft bookshop (upstairs at The Twisted Pepper, Middle Abbey Street). Three poets read from their work (be it poetry or prose) and attendees are invited to browse the bookshelves and grab a bite to eat or a coffee.
The first Wednesday of the month brings the First Wednesday Lunchtime Reading, arranged by the Seven Towers Agency and hosted at the Loft bookshop at the Twisted Pepper, Middle Abbey Street.
Reading this month are Ross Hathaway, Anamaria Crowe Serrano and Noel Duffy.
Ross Hathaway is a New Zealand born Irish poet, whose first collection 'The Gentle Art of Rotting' was published in 2006 by Seven Towers, Forthcoming this year is his next collection ''Pretending to be Dead'.
Anamaria Crowe Serrano is a translator, teacher and poet, based in Dublin. She has performed and written extensively and her first collection of poetry 'Femispheres' was published in 2008 by Shearsman UK
Noel Duffy is a poet, author and teacher. His poetry collection 'In the Library of Lost Objects' is published by the Wardwood press as are his novellas 'The Return Journey andOur Friends Electric'
These three fine artists will be reading selections from their work from around 1:15pm to 2pm, the perfect compliment to lunch and gourmet coffee from the 3FE baristas downstairs.
