Gunman Willie O Dea keeps quiet about bank robberies

category national | housing | press release author Friday November 11, 2011 15:43author by PAW - People's Association Watchdog

Former Minister for Defence Willie "The Kid" O Dea, today failed to answer questions put to him by the People's Association Watchdog in our weekly email to all TDs, Ministers and an Taoiseach, among the questions put to Wily Willie were "Will you stand up for the people or take the cushy favours of the financial industry? Are you afraid to stand up to the banking sector? Have you asked how much money they got to cover mortgages in the bailout? Are you willing to see the demise of your country when you can take a stand?". The Banks Robbery of the People of Ireland appears to be going totally unchallenged by Willie, I wonder are his constituents ignored and disregarded in this manner by this "Gentleman". Below is our latest (unedited) letter to the TDs Ministers and an Taoiseach and Willie O'Dea's unedited reply.
Gunman Willie Ó Dea
Gunman Willie Ó Dea

Dear Taoiseach / Minister / TD,

Further to our correspondences dated September 21st, October 21st, October 28th and November 4th (attached), We would like to thank those of you have replied and shown a willingness to discuss the mortgage debt plague that is devouring Irish society.

With regard to those of you who, for whatever reason have chosen not to reply, we can only say, Shame on you, have you forgotten why you entered politics? An acknowledgement of receipt of our correspondences and standard assistant replies are not considered replies, is it shameful to see that our elected representatives have not bothered in over 6 weeks of one way correspondence taken the time to respond. The lack of political will to deal effectively with this societal tragedy is abundantly clear by the sheep like mentality from both sides of the Dáil when bleating about the implementation of the Keane report’s single sided non-solution is a disgrace, at no stage in that piece of literary doggerel was the amount of bailout money already allocated to the banking fraudsters to deal with residential mortgages mentioned (estimates range from €5 billion to €10 billion and rising), esteemed economists from all areas recognise the absolute nonsense contained within the pages of aforementioned report and dismiss is completely as a non starter so it is questionable why it has been given any credence at all. Not just is clear policy lacking but fiscal foresight is also clearly amiss, furthermore, issues are already being discussed regarding legal challenges with regard to the legitimacy of evictions which are abetted by the current government and facilitated by those of you in the house who remain silent, you have a constitutional and moral obligation to the people of Ireland and it is not going unnoticed that so many of you are showing clear characteristics that a big boys club is still very much in play at the Oireachtas.

We are asking you to please wake up for God’s sake, look around at what your inaction is doing to your country, your community and your constituency, the banks are continuing to go after troubled home owners with the same relentless bullying as always, evictions are ongoing, “Assisted repossession” and “Voluntary surrender” are the terms being used to try to put an acceptable phrase to what is in fact, the surrender of ones last refuge after immense and extreme mental torture, bullying, and threatening behaviour from these parasites and sociopaths. What will you do? Will you stand up for the people or take the cushy favours of the financial industry? Are you afraid to stand up to the banking sector? Have you asked how much money they got to cover mortgages in the bailout? Are you willing to see the demise of your country when you can take a stand?

To quote Albert Einstein “The world will not be destroyed by those who do evil but by those who watch them and do nothing”. We in the People’s Association Watchdog are continuing to offer council to those victims of the banking / state imposed austerity measures, we continue to offer advice and support to those in these extremely traumatic times and we will continue to meet, discuss and highlight all of the increasingly shameful acts perpetrated against the people of Ireland by those elected to represent them. We would like you as a public representative to stand up for those people who voted for you, we would like to know what you are doing for those with homes in danger of repossession, what solutions can you offer, are you open to hear proposals from groups other than the financial sector which controlled the Keane report, will you oppose the implementation of the Keane report regardless of guise? We await your reply.

Yours Sincerely....................................

Willie O Dea's Reply:

Regards Willie O'Dea T.D.
