Thousands of people marched supporting #OccupyDameStreet and Real Democracy Now! Ireland from the Garden of Remembrance to the site of the ongoing occupation at the Central Bank plaza on Dame street on Saturday 22nd of October. We will again gather at 2pm at the Garden of Remembrance on 29th of October and march to the site of the Dame Street occupation.

On November 2nd 2011, next Wednesday, a $1,000,000,000 bond comes due at Anglo Irish Bank. This bond is unsecured, unguaranteed, a bond we have absolutely no obligation to pay.

Let's stop the payment of €730,000,000 apparently due to be paid to the bond holders of the former Anglo Irish Bank on 5th November 2011. This is money that we, the Irish People do not owe but money that was recklessly guaranteed by an irresponsible government to private speculators i.e. bondholders. The same bondholders never shared their gains with us when their gambles profited, we should not be punished for their losses. We did not take that risk, we should not be forced to suffer for other peoples' speculation. March from Garden of Remembrance with #occupydamestreet on Saturday at 2pm. More events planned for early next week.

Banks never share profits, we wont share their losses!
